Media Consent
INCC events are regularly photographed and filmed for promotional, archival and news purposes — on incctokyo.com, in event recaps, on social media, and in materials shared with sponsors and the press.
Performers and groups
When you submit a performance request, you are asked to confirm media consent for your performance. Consenting means INCC may photograph or film your performance and use that material, along with your act name, description and any media you provide (photos, video links), on the public site and in promotional materials for the event and future INCC activities.
If you do not consent, tell us in your request — we will still consider your application, but will avoid featuring your performance in promotional photography and video where practical. Note that general event photography of the venue and audience may still include you incidentally.
Sponsors
Sponsor logos, names and representative photos submitted with a sponsorship application may be used on the public sponsor directory and in event materials, in line with the sponsorship level agreed with INCC.
Volunteers and attendees
General photography and video of INCC events — covering the venue, audience and activities — may be taken and used for recaps, social media and future promotion. If you would prefer not to appear in published material, let event staff know on the day and we will do our reasonable best to accommodate this.
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw media consent for future use at any time by contacting us. We will remove the specified material from our own channels where reasonably possible; we cannot recall material already shared by third parties (such as news coverage or attendee social media posts).

Questions about media consent, or a request to have material reviewed or removed, can be sent through our contact page.
